“If I could give them 10 stars I would! We used Dawg Boarding for drop-in visits first, then an overnight stay and most recently the 2 week board and train program for our 4 year old dog Freya. I honestly cannot say enough great things about each and every one of the services. No matter what service they are providing, they are reliable and knowledgeable, and their communication is over the top! They send updates and photos/videos every day which really helps reassure you that your dog is being well cared for and having a great time! The 2 week board and train program was the BEST investment in our dog, and the relationship between her and us. Better than we ever could have imagined. Again, the communication throughout was stellar, and helped us to see what Freya was learning each day and start to prepare for continuing her training upon completion. There was a thorough training for us with Abigail at pick up, and the option for 2 follow up visits from Abigail in our home within 90 days of completion- to help brush up on things we may need help with. “It was stressful before the board and train - unable to establish clear communication with Koda and felt isolated due to some of his behaviors (mouthing/ biting, chewing, jumping, poor leash/ off leash skills) It is 1000% better! We’re still working on duration with commands, but our family has finally built a bond with Koda because we can now communicate with each other and have built a lot of trust. Our 2 year old can now play with his toys freely without worrying that Koda will take the toy and run, and we can all have snuggle time with Koda without worrying about biting/ mouthing!
